Falling Away: A Call to Wake Up
In this episode Bishop Ronald and Bishop LaCreece Rostin welcome new listeners and pray for God’s blessing before diving into a Bible-based exploration of the “falling away.” Using key scriptures (2 Thessalonians 2:3, 1 Timothy 4:1 and John 6), they define the last falling away as a spiritual departure that precedes the revealing of lawlessness and describe how deception, self-centeredness, and a turn from holiness open the way for demonic influence.
They review historical examples from Jesus’ ministry where eyewitnesses to miracles nevertheless walked away, showing how lack of spiritual understanding and disappointment at the crucifixion led many to abandon the faith. The hosts explain how this pattern made room for God’s plan to include the Gentiles, and they warn that modern complacency and soulish living repeat the same dangers.
The episode calls believers to pursue holiness, sharpen spiritual discernment, and remain part of the remnant who uphold the teachings and mission of Christ. The hosts also point listeners to their books and video library for further study and invite the audience to share the podcast and continue contending for the faith.
